So – like I said in my post last week.
I don’t find new years resolutions very powerful, in fact I find them a weak ass version of a personal agreement – in fact, a complete waste of time in my experience.
What I find powerful are personal commitments.
I know that when I commit to something I give it my word, and when I give something my word then it’s a done deal.
So these are my commitments, in 10 categories, over the next month. This spread will give me a boost in each area of my life – not just focusing on one thing.
Plus – I’m not committing to these things forever – just for a month, and anything is possible for a month.
Then I’ll re-commit for the next month – so keeping it fresh and powerful.

- Carrer & motivation
- Share my work with more people.
- To co-create a podcast with my friend.
- To start a Q&A on my group
- Share my work with more people.
- Creation
- Create some design time
- Fun and recreation
- Create some music time
- Health
- Sugar/alcohol/grain free for a month. My digestive system requires a reboot and I have signs of an infection so clear out time.
- Fitness
- Create a conscious training program
- Gym at leat 3 times a week (plus check out local gym option)
- A couple of walks a week
- At least 1 bike ride a week
- 1 swim a week
- At least 1 Hot-tub and steam room a week
- 60 press-ups a day
- Create a conscious training program
- Family and friends
- See at least one friend a week
- Partners and love
- Create a date night each week
- Growth and learning
- Morning sidekick routine
- Spirituality
- Meditate, or vision process each morning
Here are my current scores – will update next month and see where I am.
Will be interesting to see where this is by this time next year.
